Users Are Unable To Make Payments. What Are The Next Steps?

If your customers are unable to make payments or their payments are failing, follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve the issue with FunnelKit Square Gateway for WooCommerce.

1. Check the order notes in WooCommerce

Go to the Orders section under WooCommerce in your WordPress dashboard.

Find the failed order and check the order notes for any messages related to the payment failure, such as declined transactions, invalid payment methods, or issues with the card.

2. Enable logs for detailed information

Navigate to WooCommerce ⇨ Settings and click on Square.

Check the Enable Debug Logging option to capture detailed logs of payment failures.

3. Review logs for error details

Navigate to WooCommerce ⇨ Status ⇨ Logs in the WordPress dashboard.

Look for the fksi-square logs associated with the date when the payment failure occurred.

Review the log entries and error messages carefully. Pay attention to any specific error codes or issues mentioned.
If you’re not sure, copy the log entries related to the payment failure and paste them into the support ticket for the FunnelKit support team.
