Users Are Unable To Make Payments. What Are The Next Steps?

If your customers are unable to make payments or their transactions are failing, follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve the issue with FunnelKit PayPal Gateway for WooCommerce.

1. Check the order notes in WooCommerce

Go to WooCommerce ⇨ Orders in your WordPress dashboard.

Locate the failed order and review the order notes.

PayPal will usually provide a response code or message, such as transaction declined, invalid payment method, insufficient funds, account not verified, or payment not completed.

This will help capture any failures happening during the payment process.

2. Review logs for error details

Go to WooCommerce ⇨ Status ⇨ Logs in your WordPress dashboard.

From the dropdown, select the log file that starts with "funnelkit-payment-gateway-paypal-for-woocommerce" and the corresponding date of the failed transaction.

Review the log entries and note down any error codes or specific issues returned by PayPal.

If you’re unsure, copy the relevant log entries related to the failure and include them in a support ticket to the FunnelKit support team.
