The Contact Activity section inside Transactional Emails allows store owners to track customer interactions sent from their WooCommerce store.
This section provides valuable insights into how customers engage with essential emails, such as order confirmations, invoice emails, etc.
The Contact Activity section is important for the following reasons:
- Improves email deliverability tracking: Store owners can ensure emails are sent and delivered successfully.
- Enhances customer engagement monitoring: It helps understand customer interactions with the open and click tracking.
- Quick resend feature: If an important email (like an order confirmation) is missed, store owners can resend it easily with one click.
- Faster issue resolution: Store owners or support teams can quickly assist customers in troubleshooting email-related queries efficiently.
Navigate to FunnelKit Automations ⇨ Emails ⇨ Transactional Emails and click on the Contact Activity section.
You get the following details:

Contact
Displays the recipient’s name (like David Shaw as per the screenshot).
Clicking on the contact name opens the customer profile, where you can see all the emails sent in FunnelKit Automations.

Here you can see the detailed contact profile for this customer.
Type
Specifies the type of transactional email sent to the customer.
For example, this one says Processing Order.
Order ID
Shows the WooCommerce order ID associated with this transactional email.
Clicking on the order ID (e.g., 851) redirect to the order details page in WooCommerce.

This shows you detailed information about the order.
Sent On
Displays the exact date and time the email was sent (example, March 20, 2025 7:31 PM).
Engagement Status
This section tracks three key engagement points:
- Sent: Confirms that the email was successfully sent.
- Open: Indicates whether the recipient has opened the email.
- Click: Tracks if the recipient has clicked on any links within the email.
The green indicator makes it easy to identity where the recipient is in the email engagement process.
Action
You can take two types of actions:
- Resend: If the email has not been opened yet, store owners have the option to resent it with a single click.
- View: Allows store owners to preview the exact email that was sent to the customer.
